Former India head coach Rahul Dravid is set to attend the inauguration of India House at the Paris Olympics that will celebrate cricket’s inclusion in the “Los Angeles Olympics 2028”.

On this occasion, Rahul Dravid will participate in an important discussion to be held at “India House” located in Parc de Lavillette, India’s first country house at the Olympics, designed by the Reliance Foundation. The topic of this discussion will be ‘Cricket at the Olympics: The beginning of a new era’.

The discussion will also be attended by International Cricket Council CEO, Geoff Allardice,

who said, “We continue to focus on growing cricket around the world, bringing more fans to the sport, providing opportunities for players to compete at the highest level and now taking cricket to Olympic stakeholders. The inclusion of cricket in the Olympics is an important step and we look forward to Paris 2024, which will add further impetus to this journey.”

Dream Sports CEO Harsh Jain also expressed his sentiments on the occasion, “We are very excited to have the world’s second-largest spectator sport finally included in the next Olympics. This will certainly take the global viewership of the Olympics to an all-time high and encourage more countries to develop cricket programs, thereby promoting the growth and diversity of the sport.”

The moderated panel will present their perspectives on cricket at the upcoming Los Angeles 2028 Olympics along with other prominent panelists, helping to take the sport to a global audience.
