Naseem Shah, who has been out of the field since undergoing surgery due to his shoulder injury last October 2023, is trying to meet the important parameters regarding his strength and fitness.

At present, the Pakistani team will play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh in the World Test Championship starting from August 21, in which Shaheen cannot participate.

Coach Jason Gillespie was quoted as saying by Geo News, “Shaheen may be out of Bangladesh’s Test matches due to the birth of a child. If he wants to be with his wife till then, we can give him some rest.”
