He told that it was also decided to leave the Ranji Trophy match, due to which he was removed from the central contract list by BCCI.

In this case, coach Rahul Dravid had also explained to him that he would have to perform well in domestic matches to make a comeback. But Kishan gave priority to his decision regarding his mental state.

Ishan Kishan has faced many questions regarding his decision, but he revealed that he was not in the right mental state to return. He said, “I took a break and I think it was normal. At this time I had a big problem in my heart and I took this decision due to my mental state.”

He complained that despite performing well in his game, he did not get enough chances for the Indian team. He said, “It was disappointing. Even today I cannot say that everything was fine.”
