After losing the recent ODI series against Sri Lanka, the Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma is now focusing towards Test cricket.
The upcoming Test schedule is extremely important for the Indian team, especially in preparation for the 2025 World Test Championship final.
India’s next Test campaign will begin against Bangladesh in September. The first Test in Chennai starts on September 15, and the second Test will be held in Kanpur from September 27.
Team India is aiming to strengthen its position in the WTC points table by winning these matches.
India will then play a three-match Test series against New Zealand. The first Test will be played in Bengaluru from October 16, the second in Pune from October 24, and the final Test in Mumbai from November 1.
India will take on Australia in a five-match Test series. The first Test will be played in Perth from November 22, the second in Adelaide from December 6, the third in Brisbane from December 14, the fourth in Melbourne from December 26, and the final Test in Sydney from January 3.
These Test matches will be crucial for India’s preparation for the Champions Trophy 2025.
