Sanju Samson, the rising star of Indian cricket, has finally opened up on his limited presence in the Indian team.
Sanju, who has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket and the IPL, has expressed hopes of getting himself a regular inclusion in the Indian team. But, in recent times, he is getting limited opportunities, and he has broken his silence on this issue.
In an interview with Zee TV, Sanju Samson said,
“When they call me to play, I go and play. If not, no problem. I’m not thinking too much about this. The team is performing well, so there is no problem. I like to stay positive and focus on what I can control. I put in maximum effort in my practice and hard work, which is improving my game.”
A glimpse of positivity and self-control was seen in Sanju Samson’s words. He told that he is fully engaged in his practice and hard work, which is improving his game.
“I want my career to go ahead, so I focus on improving my game and focus on what is in my control.”
In the current scenario of Indian cricket, Sanju Samson often gets to see that when it is the year of the ODI World Cup, he gets a chance to play in T20 and in the year of the T20 World Cup, he gets a chance in ODIs.
Despite this, his performances have always been excellent. Recently, Samson scored a brilliant century against South Africa, but despite this, he was not selected in the team for the ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Sanju’s coach has appreciated his hard work and dedication, and Sanju reacted to it by saying, “Okay,” and replied with a smile.
Sanju Samson’s statement makes it clear that he is all set to make his place in Indian cricket with his hard work and positivity.
