The Indian cricket team has succeeded in giving them victory in the one-day series held in America.
In the first match played with the host country Australia, Indian captain Rohit Sharma scored important runs while batting and his good performance in bowling also gave the team victory against Australia.

After the match, Rohit Sharma told after the match, “I thought from the first over that there is a strong wind blowing. They (Australia) changed their plan and started bowling against the wind, so I thought I would also have to start bowling on the off side.” He figured it out very intelligently and presented a good performance for his team.
After the match, the Indian captain further said, “We have to keep in mind the direction of the wind and also understand that the bowlers are also smart and leave the ball open in all corners of the field. When you play with an open mind and do not think about just one shot, you can play the ball in all parts of the field.”
“200 is definitely a good score but when you are playing on grounds like this where wind is a factor, anything is possible but I think we used the conditions very well. It was pleasing to see how we were able to get through those overs and take wickets as well.”
After this victory, the hopes of the Indian team will clash against the English team in the semi-finals.
Rohit Sharma also said that they need to play the same way they have done so far, and he expects his team to perform in the same way in the knockout stage.
Even Australian captain Mitchell Marsh admitted that India performed better on the day and he will have to work hard to keep his team stable.
