Indian cricket all-rounder and Mumbai Indians star Hardik Pandya on Thursday shared his coming-of-age story with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, about his experience of dealing with tough moments during the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Hardik said that he faced a lot of ups and downs and criticism this season, including his new experience of captaincy.
He also revealed how he managed to maintain his composure and mental stability while facing these challenges and eventually played a crucial role for Team India.

He said, “The last 6 months have been very entertaining for me, there were a lot of ups and downs and people made fun of me. A lot of things happened and I always felt that if I give any answer, it will be through the game itself… So I believed that I will stay strong, work hard.”
Further, Hardik told that he has been successful in playing a crucial role for himself and for the team, especially during the T20 World Cup. He made a significant contribution to the tournament where his batting and bowling led the team to important victories.
During this, Hardik scored 144 runs with a strike rate of 151.57 in his batting and took 11 wickets in bowling. He handled the team at every turn and contributed significantly to its victory.

This conversation took place with PM Modi when Hardik and his team India were returning to the country after their victorious tour. In this meeting, Pandya told the PM about his difficult journey to victory and shared his happiness with him.
