Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez has praised Indian captain Rohit Sharma and said that India deserves to win the T20 World Cup 2024.
Notably, the Indian team is in good form in the World Cup and now it has to play in the semi-finals against England.
Rohit Sharma played a unique 92-run innings against Australia in his last match, in which he hit 7 fours and 8 sixes in 41 balls.

Hafeez shared a video through his official Twitter handle, in which he praised Rohit Sharma’s last innings.
Hafeez said, “When you set big targets your reputation grows. If I talk about Rohit, then the leadership of India deserves to win the World Cup. The way he played unconditional cricket like a champion player. He did not care whether there is any seam or swing or not.”
He further said, “Special efforts and when you weigh their performance with Rohit, you can’t praise anyone enough, the efforts of others will look small. Rohit is the only person at the moment who deserves to win this World Cup for India.”

Further he said, “It was Rohit’s show. We saw one of the best innings of the captain. If you talk about leading from the front, he changed only one thing, there was no doubt about his quality. One thing, which he changed in himself, was a selfless approach.”
